Process

Thermal precision and process control in every carbonisation cycle.

Wood is carbonised in a closed retort through a controlled thermal process. Each stage is monitored in real time by four probes connected to Piroliswiss Control, ensuring precision, efficiency and uniformity in every cycle.

Carbonisation

Cellulose and lignin break down. Gas that does not condense returns to the burner and heats the retort itself.

Control and traceability

Smart monitoring in every cycle.

Piroliswiss Control is our kiln supervision and monitoring system. It records the temperature of every retort in real time, detects deviations during the cycle and stores the thermal curve of every load to ensure traceability, control and consistent operation.

  • Four probes per kiln

Front, centre, back and gas outlet. The spread between probes shows whether the load carbonises evenly.

  • Cycle phases

Loading, heating and pyrolysis are detected from temperature, with the start time and duration of each phase.

  • Real-time alarms

Immediate warning when a kiln passes its threshold, a probe fails or a node stops sending data. Without a connection, readings are queued and sent later.

  • Per-lot record

Every cycle is stored and can be exported, so each lot can be traced back to its temperature curve.
